Clare Cook is a Patient Blood Management Practitioner representing NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT) across the Midlands region. She brings experience as a clinical leader in both nursing and midwifery, within the NHS and international settings. Clare has a background in education, as well as commissioning and service improvement, in women’s health. Her professional interests focus on advancing women’s health, enhancing donor wellbeing, and raising public awareness of the importance of blood health. She is also an active member of the SHOT (Serious Hazards of Transfusion) working expert group for Adverse Events Related to Anti-D Immunoglobulin.
