Jo is a registered Midwife and SCPHN who has worked and trained in healthcare and higher education since 2010. Jo currently works as an Associate Dean for a School of Nursing, Midwifery & Public Health. Jo has a particular interest in teaching on contemporary subjects within the public health arena and is engaged in work to develop feminist approaches to student practice reflection as part of ongoing doctoral research. Jo works for the QAA on behalf of the nursing and midwifery regulator (NMC) to provide quality assurance reviews of NMC regulated programmes and is a Senior Fellow of Advance HE.
