Ethnicity-based health inequalities in the UK's maternity services

Zahra is a registered midwife in London. She is a midwifery academic, teaching pre-registration student midwives topics such as, public health, global health and obstetric emergencies at King’s College London. Zahra is also a researcher interested in health and social inequalities. She is currently working on a large-scale review to identify intervention to mitigate inequalities. Her specific area of interest is ethnicity-based inequalities in maternity care. Zahra is an advocate for inclusive teaching, learning and research, and believes strongly in supporting disadvantaged or marginalised people.
